Hunter's research focuses on the utilization of biomaterials to mitigate bone disorders, such as osteoporosis and traumatic fractures. Specifically he is investigating the potential of adenosine delivery for treating compromised fractures and osteoporotic bone loss. When  not in the lab, Hunter enjoys exploring new places and restaurants around the Southeast. He also use his free time to exercise, golf, and spend time with family.
